When not on the road with Y La Bamba or Daniel Villarreal or working on one of his SAAB’s, Chicago bassist Gordon Walters can be found performing on any given street corner in the city. His influences include Nicolas Jaar, The Shaggs, John Zorn, Renaldo & The Loaf, & Guerilla Toss. Gordon is elated to be joined by the great Quin Kircher (Greg Ward’s Rogue Parade) on drums, and the fantastic Luke Polipnick (The Flying Luttenbachers) on guitar. They’ll be performing traditionals from legendary North & South American composers, as well as their take on some contemporary top 40 tunes and songs by local Chicago composers.
