Edinho Gerber, on a break from touring with Brazilian guitar legend Rigerio DeSouza, will be playing the latest sounds from Rio with a special reunion of Soul Do Brasil. He’s been living in Rio de Janeiro for the past 5 years but is back in Chicago. He’ll be joined by legendary drummer Luiz Ewerling, also a Brazil native, and a staple on the Chicago music scene for many years. Though Luiz is masterful in many styles, he’ll be showcasing his one-man tour-de-force Brazilian stylings. Rounding out the trio is longtime stalwart on the Brazilian scene, Jack Zara. He’s been laying down the low-end for many a Brazilian party. Jack can also be seen performing with George Freeman at Dorians.
