Matt “Mo” Manley has been playing funk, soul and jazz 45s since 1988. His love for records has led him from playing music to writing about and visualizing it as well — writing for Wax Poetics magazine and designing for Detroit’s FUNK NIGHT RECORDS.

In addition to being a Soul Summit resident, Mo has posted up at Ace Hotels (London, Palm Springs, NYC, Chicago) Soul in the Horn + Mobile Mondays (NYC), Soulelujah! (BOSTON), Funk Night (DETROIT), Funky Sole (LA), Bump & Hustle (ST LOUIS), Naptown Soul Club (INDIANAPOLIS), and Funky Good Time (NASHVILLE).
